ABOUT US

First Flight Mariculture is a family owned and operated boutique oyster company based in Bath, NC. The oyster farm is located adjacent to Indian Island, a site where ancient Native Americans held their own version of oyster roasts and potsherds, and oyster shells can still be found on the island.  First Flight oysters are plump and sweetly salty, a perfect half shell taste without an overpowering brine.  Our oysters pair well with a variety of sauces or wines and are a good oyster for the novice.
